History

My name is Ron Saponaro and I started Ron's Tire & Service in April of 1992. Growing up in Framingham into an honest middle class family, I started working at a young age in a family car business. I took an early interest in learning more about auto repair and tires. Upon receiving my Bachelors degree in 1987, I eagerly went back to work for my father and uncle who owned two tire stores and a repair shop. Five years after gaining valuable industry knowledge and experience, it became obvious to me that I enjoyed providing good customer service, which is what my mentors proved was a valuable asset. In 1992 I had an opportunity to start my own business, of course this came with fears of whether I would succeed or fail. Knowing that I had a good work ethic, mechanical knowledge, with an urgency to get things done, I would not fail from lack of effort. Since my first day in business in 1992 to this day, I treat every customer like they are my first and only customer. My business model is customers first. I listen to my customers, give them options on how to fix their vehicle problem(s), and perform the services in a timely manner at a fair price.

For the first 16 years in business (1992-2008) I rented my first location which was a 3 bay shop with limited parking and waiting area for my customers. In those 16 years I added a bay to make it into four bays, used several outdoor lifts, bought a small garage across the street with extra warehouse space and an extra alignment machine. I filled ten overseas storage containers for storing all the tires needed from the high demand of my constantly growing customer base that appreciated my honesty, knowledge and good service. After outgrowing this original location, I simply needed more space. So in 2008 with the help of the SBA (small business association) I took a chance, borrowed money and moved into my current larger location. This was my way to better serve my growing customer base. We now have 11 service bays, more indoor warehouse space, plenty of parking and a nice clean waiting area.

Now with over 25 years in business and still growing, I have realized that no matter how much competition there is, people still want good personalized service and quick accurate answers. Every day my staff and I keep it simple and easy. My team and I are continuously educating ourselves to keep up on today's ever changing vehicles. We have the experience, training and knowledge to take care of your vehicle needs very efficiently. We have a large inventory of tires in stock, so when you need tires you can just drive in and get them installed at a fair price, usually the same day.
